This beautiful area of the western Rocky Mountains is home to 3 terrific ski resorts - each with its own special style and offerings!
Snowbasin, a Sun Valley Resort, offers European style luxury and beauty throughout their 3 day lodges with breathtaking scenery all around. After several years of being a local's favorite, Snowbasin was awarded the venue for the men's and women's downhill, Super G and combined races during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games hosted by Salt Lake City. This started the World Class recognition of this awesome resort, its incredible terrain, wide open bowls, rugged peaks, and fine dining ~ just to name a few of the things people love about Snowbasin!
Powder Mountain, also known at POW MOW to the locals, is the largest ski resort in North America, with over 7,000 acres of terrain. To get you acquainted with POW MOW, they offer several mountain tours daily and then you decide how and where to enjoy your adventure ~ you can even choose from helicopter skiing, snowcat powder safari's and backcountry expeditions. This mountain is known for its vast powder stashes, uncrowded slopes and lift lines and down-home family atmosphere.
Wolf Creek Utah Ski Resort is a favorite among locals when learning to ski or ride, but it also offers fun for the more experienced snow lover as well! This resort is very family friendly and has extremely reasonable prices. Open for night skiing, the sparkle of lights can be seen throughout the valley just adding to the magical feel of Our Mountain Place here in the majestic Wasatch range!

We have just partnered with the Ogden Weber Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide our guests the opportunity to ride a ski bus from Moose Hollow to
Wolf Mountain and Snowbasin – this service begins Dec 26, 2009 and is limited to partners, such as Our Mountain Place Lodging, who are helping to fund this amenity. A nominal fee we be charged to help defray costs.
